SAN ANTONIO- Police are searching for two robbers whose gun accidentally went off during a robbery, scaring them away.

The would-be robbery happened at the Valero Corner Store on Culebra Road near Loop 1604 early Thursday morning. Police say two armed men whose faces were covered, went in demanding cash from the clerk. One of their guns then accidentally went off, and the two men ran off without any money.

No one was hurt.

i hate going to valero. they're always trying to suggestively sell stuff at the register and it's annoying. or they want you to donate a dollar. nothing convenient about getting shook down for money when all you wanted was a cup of coffee.
