SAN ANTONIO - A woman escaped after her home caught on fire early Monday morning.
The fire broke out shortly after 5:30 a.m. Monday on Westlawn Drive, near Marbach and West Military. Investigators say the small fire started in an outside light fixture. A neighbor called the fire department when they noticed the smoke.
The woman who lives in the house was able to get out safely. Fire officials say there was only minor damage to the home.
