SAN ANTONIO -- Police are investigating the death of a woman found dumped on the Southwest Side.
Officers were called out for a strong odor, near Carroll Avenue and Zarzamora around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found the body of a nude woman in a grassy area. Investigators say the body had been dragged to the location and had been there for a few days.
The medical examiner is expected to perform an autopsy Monday to determine the cause of the woman's death.
