SAN ANTONIO -- A woman in her 20s was transported to the hospital in serious condition early Friday after police say she was driving too fast and slammed into a cement pouring truck.
According to police, the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Friday on Demya Drive, near Loop 410 and Highway 90, on the West Side. The woman ended up trapped inside the car, and emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to free her.
Police told News 4 San Antonio that although her injuries were serious they did not believe they were life threatening.
