SAN ANTONIO - A man is in police custody after he stabs a woman multiple times then dumps her on the side of the road.
The incident happened shortly before 1 A.M. near the intersection of VFW Boulevard and Riverside drive on the city's south side.
According to investigators a man in his late 30's picked up the 20-year-old woman before stabbing her several times and discarding her curbside. The victim was taken to Mission Trails Hospital in stable condition.
Police spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspect's at the Walmart off Goliad Road. Charges are pending.
