SAN ANTONIO – Watching TV landed a north side woman in the hospital.
Officers say that’s what she was doing when someone shot through the window of her apartment.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the Canlen West Apartments on West Avenue, a few blocks north of Basse Road.
The bullet hit the woman in the hand, just inches away from her two teenaged sons.
"It was pretty close to where they were sitting on the sofa,” Sgt. Brian Reyes says. “Luckily, it just hit her in the hand. We don't want it to hit anybody but the way they were sitting, it could have been worse."
Police are now looking for two men who ran off on foot. Officers think they were involved in an ongoing feud with the victim.
