SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was shot outside an East Side food market Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said people in two cars got into a fight outside the Dollar Food Market in the 600 block of Porter around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Someone inside one of the cars fired a gun at a person standing outside the store. The bullet missed that person but hit a bystander outside the store in the lower back. The intended victim then jumped into another car and both that person and the shooter took off in their vehicles.
Police said the woman who was shot had nothing to do with the fight. She is expected to be all right.
Police are now searching for both of the vehicles and suspects involved in the shooting.
