SAN ANTONIO - Our New Year's Eve party seemed to go off without hitch until a woman was apparently hit by a what appeared to be a small bullet.

It happened just as the fireworks were going off after the clock struck midnight.

Brenda Sheehan, a tourist from Alabama, was standing on South Alamo near the entrance to HemisFair Park when she felt pain in her foot.

She ended being treated right next to the stage Leslie Bohl and Michael Garofalo were reporting from Monday night.  Due to the massive crowd,  getting an ambulance into the area was a problem, so Michael offered to take her to a hospital, using a van he was in charge of during the event.

He dropped Sheehan and her family off at the Nix Hospital.

The family sent Michael an email, so it appears she is going to be fine.
