SAN ANTONIO -- A woman is in serious condition after being run over on the Southwest Side, police said.
Officers tell News 4 San Antonio that a couple was arguing in their Ford Escape just after midnight Saturday when they pulled over on Old Pearsall Road.
At some point during their fight, the woman ended up lying in the street and a Suburban ran over her, officials said.
The driver of the Suburban is reported to have said he couldn't avoid hitting her and was not charged.
The victim's boyfriend was arrested for DWI.
