SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was killed when the car she was driving slammed into an SUV on the North Side Friday morning.
The accident happened around 5:00 a.m. on Wetmore Road. Police say the woman was traveling south on Wetmore in a Chevy Cobalt, when she veered into the northbound lane and hit an SUV head-on.
The woman died at the scene. News 4 San Antonio was told the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the SUV was not seriously injured.
