SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was hit by a van near Churchill High School Thursday morning.
Police say 26-year-old Kendra Chapman was crossing the street in the 13,000 block of Sir Winston around 8:00 a.m. when a van pulling out of an apartment complex hit her in the center turn lane. According to investigators, the driver of the van stopped to help Chapman but then fled a short time later.
Chapman was taken to University Hospital with what police say were non-life threatening injuries.
The case is still under investigation.
