SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was killed while trying to cross a highway access road on the Southwest Side.
The accident happened on the access road of Interstate 35, just south of Fischer Road just before 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Police say the 47-year-old woman was hit by an 18-wheeler and several other cars.
The drivers did stop, and no one is facing any charges at this time.
The woman's identity has not been released.
