WELL SHE NEEDS TO WAKE UP. I PRAY THE BABY IS OKAY. WHAT IS UP WITH SA WITH DRINKING AND DRIVING?!

Guest, people drink and drive because the consequences are minimal for the every day offender. Penalty ranges for DWI are a joke. The government as well as attorneys are the ones who profit the most from DWI. I would like to see Suan Reed as well as CHeif McManus start stumping for sobriety checkpoints to really assist with this issue.

Where is TABC on the problem of DWI's?

Most people would be surprised at what the CDC is calling binge drinking, very little per week is considered to be problematic. And any impairment at all is never safe to drive, there is no safe amount of alcohol to drink before driving. http://www.cdc.gov/alcohol/faqs.htm#drinkDrive Look at the FAQ here about is it safe to drive and also if you keep reading "Legal limits do not define a level below which it is safe to operate a vehicle or engage in some other activity. Impairment due to alcohol use begins to occur at levels well below the legal limit." Even UTSA needs to stop teaching kids there are safe levels to drink and drive, that is just not true. And I would doubt the motives of anyone defending the right to drink and drive, they are probably doing it too.
