SAN ANTONIO -- A vehicle fire that occurred early Saturday on the Northwest side caused a section of I-10 to be closed down for about an hour and a half, officials said.

Police tell News 4 San Antonio that they believe an electrical short under the hood of the vehicle caused the fire that occurred at I-10 and Fredericksburg Road at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The driver is reported to have escaped from her vehicle without any injuries.
