SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was seriously injured in an accident on the East Side Wednesday night.
The wreck happened on Interstate 35 near North New Braunfels around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said a couple was arguing when the driver lost control of the SUV, causing it to flip. The woman was ejected from the SUV. She was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Police said the driver told investigators he had been drinking. Officers at the scene did not release any information on what charges he could be facing.
