SAN ANTONIO -- Police continue their search for the driver who hit and killed a woman then just sped off.
Witnesses say the woman, 67-year-old Maria Mena, was trying to cross Zarzamora on the Southwest Side to get from a H-E-B store to a bus stop.
She didn’t make it. Investigators say the driver who hit her drove down about a half mile, got out of the black truck at a Whataburger, and took off running.
Police say they have a good idea of whom they're looking for but as of Friday morning there was no arrest reported.
