SAN ANTONIO - A police officer was assaulted while on the job Monday. It happened just before 5 pm on Probandt near I-10.
Officers were arresting a woman who had outstanding warrants when she started to run. They went after her, and during the ensuing scuffle the woman bit one of the officer's arms.
They were both taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The woman now faces even more charges.
