SAN ANTONIO- - A young wife is crying out for help in finding her husband's killer.
The medical examiner has identified 33-year-old Army Reservist Santos T. Garcia III as the man found burned in his Ford F-150 truck in the 300 block of Springfield Road back on August 30th.
His wife Yvette told us Santos, who served a tour in Iraq, was a kind man who loved spending time with his family. She said her husband never had trouble with anyone and would never hurt anyone. She and their 13-year-old daughter are hoping someone will lead police to those responsible for her husband's murder.
“In some way, it would bring justice to what they've done to our family and what they've done to him, so they can't do this to someone else,” Yvette said.
Police are still searching for a motive in this case and are working hard to track leads. If you have any information, please immediately contact Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867), submit a tip
