SAN ANTONIO- - A young wife is crying out for help in finding her husband's killer.

The medical examiner has identified 33-year-old Army Reservist Santos T. Garcia III as the man found burned in his Ford F-150 truck in the 300 block of Springfield Road back on August 30th.

His wife Yvette told us Santos, who served a tour in Iraq, was a kind man who loved spending time with his family.  She said her husband never had trouble with anyone and would never hurt anyone.  She and their 13-year-old daughter are hoping someone will lead police to those responsible for her husband's murder.

“In some way, it would bring justice to what they've done to our family and what they've done to him, so they can't do this to someone else,” Yvette said.

Police are still searching for a motive in this case and are working hard to track leads.  If you have any information, please immediately contact
Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867), submit a tip online, or text a tip by texting "Tip 127 plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637).

Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.

Sad. Hope they figure it out. Saw this here and on TV last night. But there is no mention in either regards "murder" clues found. Reckon its because the case is still open, but the title of the article says murder, so how come nothing in the article references why they believe it was murder?
