SAN ANTONI0- Police are looking for a hit and run suspect who hit and killed a man on the southeast side. The accident happened just after two o’clock in the morning on I-10 at Roland. His girlfriend had just pulled up behind him to help and that's when he was hit by a vehicle exiting I-10.
It’s a very tragic accident for 41- year old Alex Nieves who was having car trouble on his way home from work, and for his girlfriend who witnessed it all.
Now all Rosie de Luna wants is for anyone with information on the driver responsible for the deadly accident to come forward.
Luna explained, “My daughter in-law said it was a white truck, that's all we know”.
Nieves was pronounced dead at the scene. When police find the driver of the truck who hit him that driver will be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
