San Antonio -- Have questions about health insurance or benefits?
Humana, one of Texas' largest Medicare health benefits company, moved into the west side today to make it easier for residents to get answers.
The company opened a guidance center on Castroville Road in the Las Palmas shopping center.
City councilman David Medina says the center is essentially a one-stop-shop toward a healthier life.
There are free exercise classes, and the center has personnel on staff to answer questions about health benefits, medicare and prescription drug plans and medical devices.
Medina hopes the services will help our senior citizens lead a healthier lifestyle.
"Making sure that they have information about products that are available to them is key, and they have to take a pro-active approach, and they can do that by coming here to this Humana Resources information to get that information," Medina said.
The Humana guidance center is open to anyone in the city, Monday - Friday, from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.
