Weather blamed for five car pile-up

Well...the weather played a part in the red truck spinning out, and bouncing off the wall, this vehicle was not in the actual "wreck" that followed however. It was drizzling out, and the roads were wet. Here is what occurred- As a Suburban rounded the curve on the bridge, there was a Mustang, and another car stopped in the inside lane. The Suburban had to stop, and it had put its hazards on,not just because of the wreck, but also b/c 4-5 teens were standing in the highway as it came around the curve on the bridge. This of course stopped traffic in the inside lane, then the Tahoe stopped behind the Suburban, and had put on their hazards also. People driving by in the outside lane would not slow, or stop, so the wrecked truck could be cleared. An HEB semi was passing in the outside lane, and as a truck rounded the curve, the driver fishtailed, hit the HEB truck, then ran into the Tahoe, which hit the Suburban as it was "shot", like a pinball, between the bridge wall and the Suburban...and then past the other two cars stopped, and the original truck that had spun out. Then the truck that lost control, finally slammed to a stop when it hit the back of the Suburban. Of the 6 people in the truck, the semi, and the Suburban, none were seriously hurt. Although, whiplash was felt by at least 3 people that were involved in the wreck. The two people in the Tahoe were taken to the hospital. Everyone involved was very lucky...it could have ended with several injured...or worse, especially with the original group of teens that were standing in the road. Just wanted to make sure that it was clear, that the cars did not "crash into each other"...the semi was passing by in the outside lane, and the suburban, and the tahoe were stopped, with hazards on b/c of the truck that had spun out, and the final truck hit the two stopped vehicles.

LOL! The weather was to blame? Not really. More like some typical SATX driver pulling a typical bonehead,
