ANCHORAGE -- Police say a double amputee in a motorized wheelchair shot a Walmart manager Saturday after an argument about the customer's service dog.
An off-duty sergeant happened to be shopping in the store when he heard a gunshot. The service dog was not on its leash, and the customer was asked to leave the store. Police say as the manager escorted the man out, he was shot in the stomach with a handgun.
The manager was rushed into surgery, and the suspect was arrested.
