SAN ANTONIO -- The number of violent crimes reported across the country dropped last year.
This is the fifth straight year of declines. The FBI reports a four-percent decrease in violent crimes between 2010 and 2011.
Violent crimes include murder, robbery and rape.
Many property crimes and theft also dropped, but burglaries increased slightly.
