SAN ANTONIO -- An amber alert is issued for a Houston area teen who investigators believe is with a man she met over the internet.
Sixteen year old Alyssa Rehfield was last seen at her home Monday night in Richmond, just outside Houston. Tuesday, she was spotted in Boerne, and Wednesday, right here in San Antonio. She is believed to be with 36 year old David Karan.
Several News 4 WOAI viewers contacted the station when local authorities told them they weren't handling Alyssa's case.
One viewer says she saw a silver Ford Aspire with an Oregon license plate going east on 1604 between Babcock and La Cantera Parkway Tuesday night around five o'clock. Investigators believe the car, with license plate number 884-AGZ belongs to Karan.
Another viewer called saying she was asked by the pair for money at a bus stop near Zarzamora and Craig Street on the west side.
Alyssa Rehfield is 5'7" tall, weights about 180 pounds and has blond hair, brown eyes, and braces on her teeth. David Karan is 5'7" tall and weights about 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
