SAN ANTONIO -- A man remains in the hospital after an apparent road rage shooting Friday, and his family is now demanding answers.

Michael Villarreal was shot in the head on Southwest Military Drive. Police say his truck clipped a Mazda as he left a gas station, and the people inside the Mazda started shooting.

The 41-year-old told his brother he feels lucky to be alive.

"He just said 'I'm doing all right. I'm in pain, Tommy. I can't stand it no more," Michael's brother Thomas Villarreal told us. "I just told him 'God's with you, man. Keep on praying, have faith, man. You're going to be all right.' He goes 'I thought I was going to die. I thought that was it.'"

If you have any information about this shooting, please immediately contact Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867), submit a tip online, or text a tip by texting "Tip 127 plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637).
