SAN ANTONIO - A man is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing outside a local bar.
The incident occured outside Sparky's Club House bar, along the 5100 block of Randolph Boulevard.
Around 2:30 in the morning a patron was leaving when another man approached him and attempted to steal his cell phone. Police say the victim was stabbed twice in the shoulder area and was quickly rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Local police were able to catch the assailant after the suspect ran. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
