SAN ANTONIO -- When you go out, you may like to have a few drinks with friends. But some people are looking for a quicker buzz, and experts say they're finding a unique and dangerous way to do it.
It's called "Vaportini." A Vaportini is a device that turns alcohol into vapor, and it gets you drunk much faster.
Some people think the Vaportini is safe, because the alcohol goes straight to your bloodstream and doesn't touch your liver. But health experts warn it's actually more dangerous, because the bloodstream carries the alcohol to your brain and that could cause permanent brain damage.
You may also remember there used to be a similar device on the market called AWOL -- Alcohol Without Liquid. That device was banned in 2005 in 20 states, because it was deemed too dangerous.
