SAN ANTONIO -- Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a rash of vehicles with their car windows shot out. We're told so far there have been nine official reports of damaged cars, but there could be more.
The crimes happened Sunday night in the Big Country subdivision off 1604 and Marbach. "This is just senseless destruction, period, " said neighbor Olivia Carridine.
Carridine had her car and truck parked right outside her house, and both vehicles had a window shot out. "It almost makes you want to cry just out of the anger because there's nothing you can do, you know, " added Carridine.
Carrdine went on to say nothing was stolen out of her vehicles, the vandals just damaged the windows.
Sheriff investigators say the suspects used some type of air gun to destroy the windows, something similar to a B-B or a pellet gun.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has deputies going to out to the homes that were affected by the vandalism, while separate investigators are looking into exactly what happened.
