SAN ANTONIO -- Two students suffered minor injuries when a school bus was hit by a van on the West Side Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Brazos and Saltillo. Police said the school bus was stopped at a railroad crossing when a van crashed into the back of it.
Twenty-seven San Antonio Independent School District students were on the bus along with a driver and bus monitor. Two of the students complained of neck pain. They were treated at the scene and released to their parents.
San Antonio ISD officials contacted the parents of all of the students who were on the bus.
