VIA's CEO Resigns for new job

SAN ANTONIO -  VIA'S president and CEO is leaving for a new job in Georgia.

Keith Parker submitted his resignation today to accept a general manager position at Atlanta's public transit agency.

VIA's board immediately appointed Deputy CEO Jeff Arndt as interim CEO.

Parker will remain an active CEO for the next 30 days, then will spend another 30 days working with Arndt to help VIA with its transition.
