SAN ANTONIO - A candle left burning while no one was home sparked a house fire Sunday afternoon.
The woman who lives in the home in the 1700 block of Schley Ave. on the Southeast Side told firefighters she went to a neighbor's home and left the candle burning. The flames damaged one bedroom and the attic, but no one was injured.
Even the woman’s pets were rescued.
