SAN ANTONIO - People on a Northeast Side street are back in their homes after a call about a bomb forced evacuations.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on Lost Trail near Perrin Beitel and Loop 410. Investigators say a woman got a box from a man with a trailer outside a thrift store. When she got home and opened it, she found sticks of dynamite and a detonation device.

She put the box near her mailbox and called 311. Hazmat and the bomb squad arrived, separated the sticks from the suspected detonation device, and then diffused the device as a precaution.

Neighbors were allowed into their homes after 1:00 a.m. Monday.

No one was hurt.

Clearly, the man involved that gave the woman the box full of dynamite did not intend for her to have these bombs. Yet there was a man handing out bombs at the location of the thrift store. I believe the woman in question simply saw a line of people who were getting boxes and she wanted one, not knowing it would be bombs. None of the other people who were given bombs have called to complain, so we can safely assume they are happy with their bombs and that they expected to receive them. The focus of this story should not be on the woman who reported the plot and her bombs, but rather on the rest of the bombs and what these terrorists intend to do with them. I believe that the city could easily be under attack shortly from godless wretches of some sort that we now know for certain are armed with bombs. The police forces should be notified at once and the Texas Rangers, too. We are at the mercy of these devilish fiends and there is no telling what they might do next.

She bought a box of junk at a garage sale up the street. not sure where the store and thrift store stories are coming from.

Seems someone needs attention. Hopefully they find out who sent her the package. No one can be trusted these days.
