See how poor Chavez kept his people? Even their communist gas stations can't afford their Venezuelan flags!

We should not lower our flag to a dictator who openly despised us. Did we lower the flag when Sadaam Hussein died? Or Ghaddafi??? Let them lower the Venezuelan flag. America is not in mourning for the passing of another hatemonger. Shame on Citgo!!!

Don't blame the station. Blame dthe U.S. Govt for allowing the CITCO to operate here. We are prostitutes. We prostitute our beliefs and become streetwalkers.

Boycotting Citgo stations won't matter much. Citgo stations may get their gas from Exxon refineries, and vise versa. Besides, plenty of our gasoline comes from countries that have supported radical Islamic terrorism, or locations that destroy the environment. Pick your poison.

Luigi, Love, you hurt me to the core!!! You call ME a communist?!?!?!?! Are you as angry in real life as you are on here, or is this where you unload your exasperation and anger and frustrations and unhappiness to help you through the rest of the day of your life? As for Old Glory, we do have Flag etiquette to follow, which includes allowing the POTUS determine when Old Glory is flown at half staff, although some governors have stepped in those shoes for a state loved individual. For this to be done to honor a foreign enemy was out of bounds. Luigi, please calm yourself down so you'll live longer, and be happier.

Just goes to show that US corporations are in essence prostitutes. They'll do whatever it takes to make a buck, including sucking up to anti American psycho dictators. Kind of like politicians...they just do it to get votes.

I would like to request that anyone in the Houston, Corpus Christi and Lake Charles, Louisiana area to make tracks over to the corporate HQ and take it upon yourself to untie that ropecord, raise that flag back to full sail and walk away. Give a nice salute as you do this too. Dear Shitgo: I am not saying that your gas stations will be firebombed for make such a stupid decision to lower your flags for a dictator, but if it happens, don't really be suprised if there is a 100% red blooded eye twitching Veteran out there who would do it....
