SAN ANTONIO -- Two women were killed in a head-on collision Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. in the 6400 block of Old Pearsall Road, just outside Loop 410 on the Southwest Side.
According to a police report, 58-year-old Cynthia Koehler of Atascosa, Texas was traveling south on Old Pearsall Road when her Nissan Titan pickup truck was hit by a Mercury driven by 67-year-old Marjorie Lawson of San Antonio.
A witness told police Lawson was traveling north on Old Pearsall Road when her vehicle crossed over the center line into the southbound lane and crashed into Koehler's truck.
Lawson's car was then hit by Mercedes driven by 49-year-old Roberto Bernal of San Antonio.
Both Koehler and Lawson were killed. Bernal and his three passengers were not seriously injured.
