SAN ANTONIO - A driver is facing DWI charges after police say he crashed his vehicle into an electric pole in Castle Hills.

The accident happened on Patricia near Vista Knoll early Thursday morning. According to police, the driver of a Nissan lost control and hit the pole. Then another driver coming in the opposite direction crashed into him and the pole. Both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles due to the fallen power lines outside.

Crews had to cut the power to several blocks in order to rescue them. No one was seriously injured in theses accidents.

neither i was there watching it, but the cars never hit each other only the poles. the dude in the 350z popped the curb and smashed into the pole dropping it then the other car came speeding down about 5 mins later and failed to stop in time.
