SAN ANTONIO -- Two men dressed in costumes robbed a convenience store at gunpoint, police said. The robbery happened at the EZ-Mart on Toepperwein Road on the Northeast Side.
Police say it was just after 3:00a.m. Wednesday when two men walked into the store and pointed weapons at the clerk.
According to police one of the men was wearing a mask from the movie Scream and the other was dressed as a ninja. Police say both men were armed and demanded money.
Investigators say the men were able to get $20 before fleeing the scene. Police have not made any arrests.
Last week, police said a man wearing a ‘Scream’ mask went into the Comfort Suites on the 11000 block of IH-35 and demanded money from the clerk.
There is no word on whether the two robberies are related.
