SAN ANTONIO -- Campaign history was made on the South Side Tuesday night as the state's first-ever Spanish language debate in a congressional race pitted District 23 Republican Quico Canseco against Democratic challenger Pete Gallego.

Some experts say the race is one of the closest in the country right now. District 23 stretches from San Antonio out close to El Paso. The debate will air Saturday on Channel 41.

Both parties congressional campaign committees are spending hundreds of thousands on television ads in the race.

Why was this this in spanish ? This is the U.S.A.-State of TEXAS--where we speak english!Taxpayers have know idea what these two Mexican crooks have promised the illegal’s with our tax money.
