SAN ANTONIO -- A pickup truck crashed into a house on the North Side Friday afternoon.

News 4 WOAI was told a police officer patrolling near West Avenue and Patricia spotted a truck that had been reported stolen around 1:00 p.m. Friday. The officer signaled for the driver to pull over the truck, but the driver refused to stop. The driver then apparently lost control of the truck and crashed into a house in the 1,000 block of West Avenue.

The driver of the truck and a passenger then both attempted to flee on foot. Officers caught up with them two or three blocks away and placed the under arrest.

The homeowner was inside the house at the time of the crash, but was not injured.

I'd be making darn sure these geniuses, ever shining with brilliance, paid for ALL repairs to my home. I still don't understand how so many idiots manage to crash their vehicles INTO homes around here....just like I don't understand how so many idiots can drunkenly drive the wrong down a freeway. Brilliance. Utter brilliance.
