Truck hauling trailer full of pigs crashes on Interstate 35

SAN ANTONIO -- A truck hauling a trailer of pigs crashed on Interstate 35 on the Southwest Side Tuesday.

The accident happened around 8:25 a.m. Tuesday. News 4 WOAI was told a dual-axle pickup towing a trailer of pigs was traveling south on Interstate 35 when the driver lost control near New Laredo Highway. The truck and trailer went over the guardrail, tearing out about 75 feet of the railing.

The driver was not injured, and the pigs are all right.
