SAN ANTONIO -- Crews are working to clean up a traffic mess after a truck hit a South Side bridge.

The accident happened around 6:00 a.m. at the railroad bridge at South Saint Mary's and Roosevelt Avenue. The truck's trailer hit the underside of the bridge and got stuck there.

No injuries were reported but the street has been closed while crews work to move the cargo to another truck and clear the wreckage. Union Pacific has also called inspectors to the scene to check for structural damage.

No injuries were reported.

Just take the air out of the tires, and drag it out.

YOOO !! driver the bridge sign says 12'3" you may want to check your truck height BEFORE you leave the depot. Dollars to donuts this guy is a new grad from one of the truck driver schools around the area.

Judging from the photograph, the DMV needs to have this driver get a DL-63 completed if he wants to keep driving truck. Also the city and Union Pacific need to get their acts together to lower the road about a foot to give these trucks the clearance mandated by law.

Wonder if this was the same driver that was driving that bus at the airport that got stuck under a bridge? Lots of people were hurt there.
