SAN ANTONIO -- One person was killed in a fiery crash on Highway 90 Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of Highway 90 between Cupples Road and General McMullen. As crews were working at the scene of a major accident on Highway 90 East, another accident involving two or three vehicles happened west of that location.

In connection with the second accident, a San Antonio police department spokesman said a small truck struck a large truck, and the small truck burst into flames. It appears the driver of the small truck was trapped inside and died. Fire Chief Charles Hood also confirmed one person was killed in the fiery crash.

I drove by those crashes taking my mother to work, it was aweful. What would normally take 30 mins to take her to work and back took me over an hour and a half. People need to pay attention to what the hell they are doing behind the wheel instead of messing with their damn phones or whatever. Slow down, and pay attention to what is going on around you. Nothing is worth losing your life over.

Thank you, @bookworm, for showing the compassion that some are incapable of these days. No matter the cause, a life was lost in a horrible way. Imagine if it was one of your family members. My prayers to the family.
