Hope all turns out well

I get stuck at this crossing every time I visit my husband's shop. Fortunately I don't work but there has to be an alternate way to get to an area that are easier to get to than going around your elbow to get to your nose.

I used to get stuck in traffic waiting on trains to pass just west of downtown... and it was a lot longer than 5 minutes. it happened so often, that now I take a different route entirely to avoid the possibility of getting stuck... Takes longer, but what else can you do?

Ive been past this intersection several times in the past and one time when the train was there "man"! talk about a cluster chuck .I don't know what the solution would be to it with the proximity of Hiway 90 being there . a fly over or tunnel wont work . The train lines have been in this area a very long time. Its not like the city didn't see this problems coming years ago .

'cris8' - anyone fired for being late to work due to a train probably deserved it. The most I was ever delayed for a train was 5 minutes or so...not enough to get fired over. Leave a few minutes early if you know there's a chance of getting caught by a train...duh.

Yep - all train tracks need controlled access - bridge or underpasses where possible. Then they can run full speed all the time and wont have a reason to blow their horns. We need to go back to using trains for more freight hauling to get the big trucks off the roads.

yes the community need a bridge I am wondering how the ambulance and police cross if there is an emergency it is costing jobs lost due to being late for those that go that route even thru schools!!
