SAN ANTONIO -- A train that stalled out northwest of Downtown caused some big traffic tie-ups Monday morning.

The train stalled around 6:00 a.m., blocking Culebra and several other streets.

It took several hours to get the train moved. Culebra was back open around 9:30 a.m.

I used to get stuck at these tracks at least twice a week. What a pain in the neck. By the time you realize the train isn't moving at all, traffic is so backed up that there's nowhere to turn around and find another route.
