Train slams into car stuck on the tracks

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are investigating a collision between a train and a car near the AT&T Center early Monday morning.

The accident happened shortly before 4:30am at I-35 and AT&T Center Parkway.

The drivers of the car told police at the scene they were taking the turn around and got stuck on the tracks.  They were able to get out of the car before the train hit it.

Police said no one was hurt, but the car sustained heavy damage.
