Train collision after driver parks 18-wheeler on tracks for a nap

Officials say the truck spilled its load of whole wheat flour and the train punctured a diesel tank in the truck. Hazmat was called out to clean up the mess.

haywood, really? give him a break? do you really want to be driving on the highway with someone that doesn't pay any better attention then this? that unaimiliar with the area term doesn't cut it. unfamiliar might slide if your talking about an exit that exits left instead of right and he had been trying to get to the left when he was in the right lane (i still would not think him to bright, but your unfamiliar with the area might come in to play then.) if you can't pay close enough attention to detail to notice a set of rr tracks next to where you've chosen to park then you have no business driving anything other then a tricycle.

maybe he wasn't from San Antonio or was unfamiliar with the area. maybe he misjudged his distance after driving 10, 11, 12 hours. give the driver a break! without truck drivers, we would be living in the stone age.
