DALLAS -- Pickups are tops with Texas drivers, but they are also top targets for vehicle thieves.
The Texas Department of Public Safety released its final report on the top vehicles reported stolen in Texas during 2012. The report states pickup trucks are the most common targets for the year. The Ford pickup came in No. 1, followed closely by the Chevrolet Pickup at No. 2. the Dodge Pickup came in a No. 3. The Honda Civic and the Chevrolet Tahoe round out the top five stolen vehicles.
