SAN ANTONIO - The tomato shortage has hit San Antonio. We found a sign at a Wendy's on San Pedro Downtown explaining to customers that they do not have any tomatoes. Similar signs are up at restaurants all across town.

Florida's crop of tomatoes withered during a frosty January. Now, there's a shortage and prices are soaring. Many restaurants are opting to do without them to save money.

The good news is the spring crop looks healthy.
