SAN ANTONIO - This is just an incredible story of survival. The family of a three-year-old boy who fell out of a second story apartment window says he has was not seriously hurt.
It happened Thursday at the Las Palmas Garden Apartments on Castroville Road. A neighbor tells us she was leaving for work when she looked up and saw Zachary Valdez fall out of the window.
The boy's aunt says he was standing on a couch, watching the rain fall when he fell out.
“It happened literally in a split second. I guess he He leaned too far forward. And after he leaned forward he just... went out,” explained Zachary’s aunt Amber Rodriguez. “He wasn't crying. He was just in and out of it.”
Doctors say the boy did not suffer any internal injuries. e was just bruised and should be out of the hospital in just a few days.
