Toddler drowns in family pool

SAN ANTONIO - A family is struck with tragedy after their 15-month-old son goes missing and is found unconscious in a nearby pool.

The incident occured just before 9 P.M. last night on Erline Avenue near Acme road on the city's West side.

Police say the family noticed the child missing and a frantic search began. He was found shortly thereafter unconscious in the pool.

The toddler was taken to Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital by E.M.S. Upon his arrival, he was pronounced dead.

My heart goes out to this family , may this precious child be held in the arms of our Lord,rest peacefully dear little angel.

So sad!...I want a house with a pool but this is my biggest fear. Why does this keep happening over and over!
