SAN ANTONIO – NBC’s Today Show will be making an appearance in the Alamo City on Wednesday, July 29.
If you want to go, here's what you need to know: The general public is invited. Those interested are asked to be at the La Villita entrance to Arneson River Theatre by 7:00 a.m. Today Show producers will be on hand to help ease access to the seats. Homemade signs are welcome. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will don their cowboy boots and hats and take the fourth hour to The Lone Star State. Special guest Leann Womack will be performing LIVE!
They will broadcast live from the Arneson River Theatre near La Villita. Gifford and Kotb will explore the River Walk along with pieces on the country’s oldest working dude ranch, the Dixie Dude Ranch.
The hosts will also sample the famous local Texas barbecue, and they will test their rodeo skills on a mechanical bull.
And one of Texas’ own, Grammy Award-winner Lee Ann Womack will join the ladies in San Antonio for a special performance and a little Texas two-step.
The "Today Show Takes a Vacation" road show started Monday in Lake George, New York, followed by stops in Key West, Fla.,
San Antonio (Wednesday), and Las Vegas.

The Today Show crew will be LIVE at the Arneson from 7-10am CDT, however the Today Show is actually televised in San Antonio from 7-9am CDT (Hours I & II) and again from 11a-1p CDT (Hours III & IV).
